HELJE HAMRE AW2011_Its amazing, the silhuettes, the sharp tailoring, the mix of textures…

I was lucky to work with Helje last year, on his beautiful SS2011 lookbook, and its so easy to make it all look so effortlessly chic and sexy-when all the clothes are so well tailored, modern, sophisticated and cool.

So it was extra exciting when we went to see his second collection for AW2011 this week, at Oslo Fashion Week and within seconds I was awwwing and gasping, and you know how fashion is all about emotions, and it gave me goose bumps and chills, and I just wanted to get my hands on everything! The cool masculine wool coats with detailing, the sexy leather dresses. Drapes, patent and mauve, mixed with olive, and hues of grey, and of course BLACK BLACK BLACK.  It was all about that exclusive and edgy yet cool and modern look, that we all want -but is so hard to accomplish. HELJE HAMRE really showed off his skills, his New York influences and how in touch he is with the time we live in. Taste and talent-how can you go wrong? Spread the word-I want more, and so should all of you out there!
