THE COLLECTION
Yesterday I was invited to view the Pre-Fall and Main Fall Collection from Acne 2012, at their fabolous headquater and showroom in Stockholm. And it was such a sight for sore eyes! Beautiful colours, a mix of fabrics, focus and the body and waist in their MAIN collection as well as new and interesting silhuettes, cool prints with different stories, and amazing statement shoes. It’s always such a delight to get a real thorough presentation, and the up close touch and feel gives such a different and inspiring perspective.

“On the whole, this collection served notice to anyone who still primarily thinks of Acne as a denim brand: They’re playing a new game now, and they intend to play in the big leagues” from style.com‘s review of the FALL12 show in London.

-Love this soft pink raincoat. The flower print is from photocopied flowers and paper-
-With focus on the waist, bright colours and white and metallic-
-The mix of the oversized knitted sweater and feminine shiny metallic skirt, gave the outfit a cool and laidback feel-
- If you wanna go black and white this fall, make sure this is the way you do it-
-The contradiction and play with fabrics continues, here is a bodycon dress under a loose fitted workwear inspired dress-
-High collars, mix of fitted and loose, adjustable waistbelts, thick fabrics in soft mint colours and a new way of layering, adding a sheer feminine top over a fitted bodycon sweater, that also made the perfect silhuette with the hig waisted pencil skirt-

Today I was invited by Norwegian brand Arnie Says: and Presskontakterna to have a sneakpeak of their second collection for AW12. Previously you could shop the knits and t-shirts at Tatler, Ferner Jacobsen and Svean in Oslo, and online @tatler.no But from this fall it will also be available all across Norway. And I can for sure see why. Great basics is hard to find -but not anymore!

It was all about casual minimalisme, and perfect knits. That so easily can become wardrobe favorites and pieces to mix and match with what you already have. In the scales of the classic grey, sand, wine red and dark blue, it was also hints of black.

If I had a shop, I would so by alot of these pieces. And so should you! If you know me, I dont’t like much. But I have a soft spot for great knits, silkmixes and simple chic basics. And not to mention stretchy skinny jeans, I loved theirs in aubergine, grey and dark blue. The perfect stretch skinny is also hard to find. Can’t wait to get my hands on all of these!

Great quality, at good prices. Range also includes shoes + scarfs. Really all you need for your basic wardrobe classics. Arnie Says: will for sure be a competitor to the likes of FlippaK, Whyred and even Acne in the near future. It was about time! To be continued….

Today it was all about simple basics and intricate tailoring for SCA ULVEN’s AW 2012 lookbook shoot. Already a favorite is the oversized wool knits, sculptured dresses and beautiful ” so the perfect” wool coats.
