-Norwegian designer and stylist CHRISTINA LEDANG showed her debut collection at the WHITELIGHT STUDIOS in the heart of downtown Oslo yesterday, and it was quite a crowd she attracted for her first show.

Minimalstic, simple and fitted with clean cuts and shapes, occations of brights but mostely black and hues of blue. Interesting. Very edgy editorial appeal, with a sophisticated twist. I want more-

There’s a new girl in town. Irish Simone Rocha, Centeral St Martin MA graduate in 2010. Since then she has showed two season’s at LFW, this spring her show was the hottest ticket in town. Available at Colette and The Doverstreet Market. And she is born in 1986. London sure know how to breed new young talents. Unique play with fabrics, delicate yet modern. I want it all.

Norwegian Veronica B Vallenes is already become a household name in Denmark, as well as rising internationally as an up and coming designer. Her SS12 collection was all about that feminine touch, and her signature looks with capes and draped dresses in delicate fabrics in pale neutral colours. Can´t wait to see the clothes and work with the collection in the showroom – they will style so perfectly for any chic summer wardrobe.

In the beginning of October, you can get a hold of the latest collaboration between WEEKDAY and BRUNO PIETERS.  Belgian-born, graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1999. He has since then worked for various designers and creative director for HUGO and  Delvaux. Award winning and also mentioned by Suzy Menkes as “intriguing new talent (2001), and by Dries van Noten as “promising new designer” (2006).
