Today it was all about simple basics and intricate tailoring for SCA ULVEN’s AW 2012 lookbook shoot. Already a favorite is the oversized wool knits, sculptured dresses and beautiful ” so the perfect” wool coats. Another favorite was these prints: love the digital silk print top and these printed sweatpants: casual chic
Be sure to visit SCA ULVEN’S stand at The Gallery @ Copenhagen Fashionweek 1-3rd of February 2012.

Hot newcomer, danish model Josephine Skriver, backstage @ Helje Hamre SS12 show in Copenhagen. Here Josephine is wearing a cotton white shirt and a showpiece skirt made out of faux hair. I love the buzz and the excitement backstage at a fashionshow, and it was a such a thrill and joy to accompany Helje with the styling. Sara Rostrup/Eurowoman did the cool and beautiful makeup, and the front fringe hair was by the Wella Team.

Today we did your first shoot in LA, and we went on a roadtrip, stopped by this really cool bar at the side of the road, with the weirdest people, who had been “rockclimbing all morning”…(more hanging in their trailers). The sun was burning and the location was amazing, run down, chilled, and so in the middle of now where.
The Palms is the place to be.
If you ever run out of petrol…
Martine did the makup on this shoot, and because of her pale complexion, she had to stay out of the sun. Wearing all black was not so very desert friendly either.
Jamie wearing a replay t-shirt and Veronica B Vallenes skirt.
You gotta love the smalltown life..
Hair stylist Hector, LOVE!!! Jamie is wearing Acne tank and Diesel Jeans, Converse are customized.
Joshua Threes.

Today we went looking for props for our HENNE shoots, and we went to the most amazing prop house just outside Cape Town. It belongs to this old man, that have been collecting all sorts of stuff for years. So if you needed anything at all, he had catogorized it into different themes. I found so many cool pieces that I just wanted to take home with me!
In the costume room-there were all sorts of differnt uniforms, hats, shoes and bags, and with my love for vintage clothes-I found a lot of beautiful pieces.
In the safari-room, with a wide selection of bags, rugs, suitcases, and binoculars in different colors and shapes from a various range of eras.
I ended up with this: The safari hat, a cool bookcase in leather that was awesome, some binoculars and a cool brown case and some compasses and a worn safaribag-just the bits you need when going out in the wild.
Styling for the SAFARI shoot, brought all the way from Norway, in the usual shades, and a bit of sparkle and lots of ethinic jewellery…cant wait for the shoot next week..when we are bringing it all into life in a sofisticated Out of Africa/Safari Chic story.
