-I love this story with Arizona Muse, in the May issue of British Vogue. Shot by British photographer Ben Morris. Love the casual documentary feeling, and variations of styles and moods in this story. Also the mix of colours, prints and black & white makes it truly interesting-

SNEAKPEAK:
- THIS IS WHAT I LOVE! Today I went vintage shopping in Brooklyn, for my webshop ELEGANTLY WAISTED, and I found quite a few awesome pieces:
Full cream long pleated skirt (in the background), a yellow silk and cotton dress-with white croquet, a bright printed flower pants-skirt, a short metallic skirt, a nude and silver lace skirt, a full tutu inspired silk and lace skirt and a really fun beaded bag. Also picked up a few jewelry bits and a pair of cool sunnies. This will be available online very soon!

“S: FASHION IS ART
M: FASHION CAN NEVER BE ART”
And so it begins.
We are taken through the archives of Schiaparelli and Prada, where we look at their different approaches to their designs, where they both want to dress the women of their time, in their own way-and how they agree on astetics, but may differ on the reason behind. Schiap was inspired by the likes of Salvador Dali, though Miuccia never will look to an artist for inspiration.
-Snap from the exhibition book-
-From top left: Prada skirt, focus on necklaces vs shoes, pretty prints Prada vs Schiparelli, more beautiful prints from Schiaparelli-
-Prada prints and embellishments-
It was an interesting approach, where we looked at the similarities and differences of these two Italian designers, and how Miuccia Prada both have been inspired by Schiaparelli throughout her carrer- or you can see it in a way that “great minds think alike”‘. It is also important to be reminded of the genious and creative talent Elsa Shiaparelli was, and how ahead of her time she was, creating timeless and innovating looks, that still feels modern and never dated, even If they were created in the 1930s.

14st/3rd Av
- Here I am wearing my favorite Alma Acne boots, Proenza bag, leggings from American Apparel, top from H&M, and Acne dress, used as jacket-
This outfit actually can work as a basic, and you can make several outfits with just changing a few items. 1.Sneakers -more casual //2.White long shirt -more crisp //3.Short full skirt-bare legs, more summery //4. Long olive grey coat-more cool // Always think this way when you shop as well, don’t forget what you have, and how to mix it with your other favorite items.
