Popped by a vintage marked, and found a few cool pieces for Elegantly Waisted!
Shirt/ELEGANTLY WAISTED (Cooming soon)
Today we went looking for props for our HENNE shoots, and we went to the most amazing prop house just outside Cape Town. It belongs to this old man, that have been collecting all sorts of stuff for years. So if you needed anything at all, he had catogorized it into different themes. I found so many cool pieces that I just wanted to take home with me!
In the costume room-there were all sorts of differnt uniforms, hats, shoes and bags, and with my love for vintage clothes-I found a lot of beautiful pieces.
In the safari-room, with a wide selection of bags, rugs, suitcases, and binoculars in different colors and shapes from a various range of eras.
I ended up with this: The safari hat, a cool bookcase in leather that was awesome, some binoculars and a cool brown case and some compasses and a worn safaribag-just the bits you need when going out in the wild.
Styling for the SAFARI shoot, brought all the way from Norway, in the usual shades, and a bit of sparkle and lots of ethinic jewellery…cant wait for the shoot next week..when we are bringing it all into life in a sofisticated Out of Africa/Safari Chic story.
I usually find nothing on sale, and It is always wise not to jump on anything just because its cheap, but then again most shops are hitting end of season sales, and now you can really do the big scoops if you know what to look for. Forget about boring classics. Here are some of my last season favorites:
*Long black skirt, will still be cool for spring mixed with powder hues ans sheer layers
*Black asymmetric long jacket, super to layer over blacks and greys, long jersey dresses or ethnic prints
*Silk tanktop dress, wear it now with black tights and go bare with cool wedges for long summernights
*Black stiletto sandals, these ones with fringes will still be awsome throughout every party during fashionweek with tights or supersexy with some bright colored nails for spring coctails

What are you getting?
I love this burnt orange, goes perfect with black and cream, keep it simple but ad some feminine heels and a vintage inspired necklace to create some cool contrasts.
(Impressed with my really basic Photoshop skills…but making this actually takes forever…)
“My latest collection for Weekday creates a contrasting mood that is soft and feminine with a confident and strong attitude. Added details as gold press buttons, zippers, soft shoulder pads and tiny pockets emphasize the playfulness of the collection, says Stine Goya”.
If you need to ad something to your wardrobe, and need some chic and minimalistic outfits, these are always a safe bet.
